Dr. Joyce Lee was born in South Korea and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Lee graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science. During the three years at McMaster University, she was a recipient of multiple scholarships including McMaster University Entrance Award Scholarship / Ontario Scholar and Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship.

With a great interest in holistic musculoskeletal health care, she applied and was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) – a world-renown Chiropractic teaching institution. While attending CMCC, she was involved in various research projects and received the Excellence in Biomechanics Scholarship. Upon obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, she is currently working in the department of Graduate Studies and Research Program at CMCC. In the future, she plans to build on her clinical knowledge and pursue research again in the field of spine injury and prevention.

She is a certified provider of Clinical Acupuncture, Functional Release Technique, and Kinesio Taping, and a certified Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Lee uses a wide variety of techniques and treatment options such as chiropractic manipulative therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release therapy, and rehabilitation to offer the best treatment for common neuromusculoskeletal disorders such as low back sprain, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain/sprains, headaches as well as acute and chronic work/sports/car accident-related injuries.

As a manager and clinic owner of Rehab on Yonge Clinic, she strives to offer a multitude of drug-free, evidence-informed therapies. Treatment plans focus on relieving pain and restoring maximal function while simultaneously working to achieve optimal health and well-being.

Dr. Yu Min Lee, Chiropractor

With a great interest in human biology and healthcare, Dr. Yu Min Lee graduated from University of Toronto with Honours Bachelor of Science degree and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Lee provides collaborative, patient-oriented, evidence-based assessments and care to generate the best possible outcomes for every patient. She believes that the most effective care is only possible with a good doctor-patient interaction, putting the patient's individual needs and goals first. Using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology of body structures including joints, muscles and nerves, she provides combinations of techniques that are the most appropriate for each condition.

Various techniques and therapies Dr. Lee utilizes for care includes chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy, acupuncture, joint mobilizations, rehabilitation and exercise therapy, soft tissue therapy, electric modalities and laser therapy, custom orthotics, and compression stockings.

Some of the example health concerns that Dr. Lee specializes in treating are neck pain, back pain, headaches, muscle strain/sprains, repetitive strain injuries, arthritic conditions, sports-related injuries, and any joint pains. Shoulders, Wrists, and more.

Dr. Lee loves to spend her leisure time with her family and friends. She enjoys to go for rock climbing, yoga and outdoor activities.

Dr. Eun Yong (Brian) Jeong

Dr. Eun Yong (Brian) Jeong

Dr. Eun Yong (Brian) Jeong studied Kinesiology at York University in Toronto, Canada, and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).

During the final years at CMCC, he successfully completed and got certified in Clinical Acupuncture while attending clinical placement at CMCC campus clinic and Sherbourne Health Centre. He gained extensive clinical experience by treating different chronic and acute conditions and interacting with various patient populations.

Through these valuable experiences he gained the insight of how people can benefit from chiropractic treatment and how he, as a chiropractor, can contribute by properly educating them about their health and wellness. He strongly believes the idea that the best medication is prevention, and it is his duty to educate his patients how our body works, what to expect from the treatments, and ultimately, how to maintain a healthy lifestyle after the symptom has improved.

Hermina Kochanski, Physiotherapist

Hermina completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor in Kinesiology. She then attended the University of Toronto, where she graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Throughout her studies, she maintained honour roll standing, and was the recipient of the highest grade and academic achievement amongst her graduating class in the field of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Since graduating, Hermina has worked in the field of both orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. While working as a physiotherapist, she pursued further post graduate training and completed her Advanced level certification in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She then became an instructor and mentor for other physiotherapists in her field. Hermina is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Furthermore, she has taken courses through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, and is certified in athletic and kinesio taping.

Outside of work, Hermina enjoys spending time at her local gym, and participating in running events. She also takes great passion in the outdoors, participating in hiking and camping. Also, being a new mom has given her great appreciation for the wonders of the female body and its abilities, and she has recently taken an interest in treating the demands of pregnancy, delivery, and post-natal recovery. Hermina’s educational background and practical experience give her great success in treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Hermina is currently sharing clinic space with Rehab on Yonge clinic under the clinic name of Hardcore Physiotherapy.

Kai Ming Tang, RMT

Kai Ming Tang

With more than 20 years of extensive clinical experience as a professional swimming coach in Hong Kong, he mastered massages and rehabilitation skills for athletes in the athletic and competitive swimming field. During the final years at his massage therapy school, he specialized in Sports, Hospital, and Perinatal Professional Development.

He uses various techniques including, but not limited to, remedial, deep tissue, sports and Swedish, as well as hydrotherapy, and incorporate different techniques into his massages depending on the needs and preferences of the client. He is particularly good at deep tissue and sports massage.

He understands the importance of the knowledge and experience in providing the most beneficial therapeutic massage to the clients. He is skillful in communicating with people and uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism at all times.

Joon Seo, RMT

Joon Seo graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto and Han Yang University in South Korea. As a registered massage therapist and personal trainer in Korea, Joon has gained extensive clinical experience of more than 10 years all in athletic, rehabilitation, and relaxation settings.

His unique style combines Western and Easter techniques, fusing powerful deep tissue techniques with calming Swedish flow, to provide maximum therapeutic effect and relaxation at the same time. He also utilizes different techniques such as stretching, movement and kneading to aid in the body’s natural healing process. Joon is currently sharing clinic space with Rehab on Yonge clinic under the name of Joon’s Therapeutic Massage Spa.
