Dr. Joyce Lee, Chiropractor

Dr. Joyce Lee was born in South Korea and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Lee graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science and obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She is a certified provider of Clinical Acupuncture, Functional Release Technique, and Kinesio Taping.

 

Dr. Lee uses a wide variety of techniques and treatment options such as chiropractic manipulative therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release therapy, and rehabilitation to offer the best treatment for common neuromusculoskeletal disorders such as low back sprain, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain/sprains, headaches as well as acute and chronic work/sports/car accident-related injuries.

With a great interest in human biology and healthcare, Dr. Yu Min Lee graduated from University of Toronto with Honours Bachelor of Science degree and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Lee provides collaborative, patient-oriented, evidence-based assessments and care to generate the best possible outcomes for every patient. She believes that the most effective care is only possible with a good doctor-patient interaction, putting the patient's individual needs and goals first. Using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology of body structures including joints, muscles and nerves, she provides combinations of techniques that are the most appropriate for each condition. 


Various techniques and therapies Dr. Lee utilizes for care includes chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy, acupuncture, joint mobilizations, rehabilitation and exercise therapy, soft tissue therapy, electric modalities and laser therapy, custom orthotics, and compression stockings. Some example health concerns that Dr. Lee specializes in treating are neck pain, back pain, headaches, muscle strain/sprains, repetitive strain injuries, arthritic conditions, sports-related injuries, and any joint pains. Shoulders, Wrists, and more.


Dr. Lee loves to spend her leisure time with her family and friends. She enjoys going for rock climbing, yoga and outdoor activities. She works with patients at any age group and cares to achieve every patient's well-being. She welcomes new patients and looks forwards to meeting you soon.

Dr. James Son, Chiropactor


Dr. James Son received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Waterloo. Prior to Rehab on Yonge, Dr. Son had the pleasure of working at the Sherbourne Health Centre and CMCC campus clinic where he provided services for patients of all age groups. During this time, Dr. Son gained valuable experience working with patients suffering from conditions such as osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, concussion, headaches, as well as injuries to the lower or upper extremities.

​

Dr. Son’s mission is to help patients overcome pain, become more confident with movement, and become functionally stronger through individualized, goal-directed treatment. He hopes to accomplish this by using his various skill sets including exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, dry needling/acupuncture, education, and more. Dr. Son has a passion for treating patients of all ages and backgrounds including older adults with osteoarthritis and competitive athletes. He also has an ever-growing interest in clinical research and strives to read the latest clinical guidelines and literature in order to provide the most optimal treatment for his patients.

 

Dr. Son grew up as a competitive swimmer and also enjoys weightlifting, boxing, basketball, and ice hockey. Outside of the clinic, you can catch Dr. Son creating his next DIY project or playing with his adorable dog.

Dr. Sarah Kamiel, Chiropactor

Dr. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with honours from Dalhousie University, and then went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College. While in school, she was president of the Student Canadian Chiropractic Association as well as Vice President of the Rehab to Performance Club, which allowed her to hone in on her special interest in human biomechanics and sport performance. Dr. Sarah also acquired her certification in  Neurofunctional Acupuncture, from McMaster University.

 

Dr. Sarah grew up competing in figure skating and dance, which inspired her initial love of sport and movement. Now she spends her time enjoying powerlifting, running, and bouldering.

 

As a practitioner, Dr. Sarah strives to bring her patients to their goals, whatever they may be; lifestyle or sport-specific. Dr. Sarah believes that movement truly is medicine and wants to empower her patients by giving them the tools they need to become resilient and empowered in what they do.

 

Dr. Sarah works with her patients to determine what form of treatment works best with their goals and lifestyle. Treatment can include education, hands-on manual therapy, cupping, neurofunctional electro-acupuncture, joint mobilization, spinal adjustment, patient-specific rehabilitation, and strength training programs.

Massage Therapist

Pranom Bierca, RMT

Pranom was born in Thailand and received her diploma of Thai Traditional Massage Program from the Institute of Thai Traditional Medical in Thailand. She then pursued a career opportunity as a Thai Massage Therapist in Poland from 2009 to 2017.

 

She moved to Canada in 2017 and continued her studies in the massage therapy field at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada. She obtained her diploma of massage therapy from Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada in 2021.

 

She is also trained in various treatment modalities such as hydrotherapy, Indian head massage, hot stone massage and sport massage. She likes to use deep tissue massage techniques in combination with Thai traditional massage techniques. She also utilizes various techniques such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release therapy to relieve stress and tension. She will also provide remedial exercises and hydrotherapy for home care to help patients get the full benefit of their massage therapy treatments and improve their conditions.

 

She is running her own practice under the name ‘Muscle and Mind RMT Clinic,’ which means the treatments are on the muscle, soft tissue, and the mind of her patients. Her Muscle and Mind RMT Clinic is located inside ‘Rehab on Yonge Clinic.’

​

Outside of her clinic, you will see Pranom taking her kids to physical activities such as rock climbing, exercising, etc. She also loves cooking and baking for her family and friends. She is a sushi lover and a sushi master!
